Arc of circle method is an easy method to draw an ellipse. In this post we will learn about how to draw an ellipse by arc of circle method.

Procedure:

1. Taking AO distance from D mark F1 and F2 on line AB.
2. On line F2-O, taking any distance mark points 1,2,3, and 4.
3. Taking  F2 center, with distance  B1 draw an arc above AB and taking F1 center, with A1 distance cut this arc.
4. Repeat this steps with same centers but taking now B2 and A2 distances for drawing arcs.
5. Similarly get all other points.
6. Connect all the points by smooth curve to get an ellipse.
